Get to Know Me

I have over a decade of experience as a social worker, which allowed me to work at several community based non-profits, providing holistic psychosocial support to youth, survivors of human trafficking, individuals experiencing homelessness, survivors of childhood abuse and neglect, and asylum and refugee seekers.

I also work at a large international development NGO, bridging the gap between mental health, psychosocial wellness, and development work by providing technical support on trauma informed programming, prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse, and gender equity and social inclusion.

Some of my favorite things include reading, doing arts and crafts with my 2 young kids, going for long and aimless walks, and bringing people together in community.

Working with me, you can expect humor, references to memes, blunt questions, push back, book recommendations, personal anecdotes, occasional gossip, less than occasional cursing, and endless, genuine compassion.

I can’t wait to meet you.
